In the midst of colic, my husband and I would spend our nights (awake of course) researching what we could possibly buy to make the sleep happen and the incesant screaming cease (we are still unsure as to how one can scream for 9 hours straight).  The next day the doorstep would be piled IMG_20180707_230846438.jpghigh with Amazon Prime boxes that contained products that promised to help our little boy sleep and heal.  However, night after night we struggled… each night ordering more products that promised to be the solution.  This cycle repeated itself for a good few months.

As someone who has cried in both her OBGYN and Pediatricians office IMG_20180630_112507453.jpgmore than she’s willing to admit, I can attest… new motherhood is tough.  Once you think you have it all together… WHAM something new comes out of nowhere… some new problem to fix or some new thing to worry about.  It is a cycle that many new and experienced mothers struggle get out of.

Anyone who has been reading my blog recently knows that I’ve talked about Kayce Hodos (TAPS Group Leader Extraordinaire) before.  I was fortunate enough to meet Kayce and experience first-hand what an amazing and thoughtful leader she is.  Truth betold, her support and kindness was critical as I ventured into new motherhood.

And that’s where a Six Week Group to Rewire Your Anxious (New Mom) Brain comes in!  Kayce is currently registering for a group that IMHO all IMG_20180628_155239267.jpgNew (and Experienced Mama’s) should sign up for.  According to Kayce “The class is based on the book, Rewire Your Anxious Brain.  The group will educate you about where anxiety starts and then teach you practical strategies for putting your brain to work so you can get a grip on the over-worrying, intrusive thoughts, and panic once and for all.” The group meets every Wednesday evening (beginning in March) from 6-7:30pm in her office (Wake Forest area) and will have snacks!!!  There is a small investment for the resources and support Kayce will provide to you.

Check out Kayce’s (Hodos) website for more information and to sign up today.  You’ve got this Mama’s, stay strong!!!
