My
wife wanted to ride today, but my tailbone looks like someone colored it with a Sharpie right now due to my spill on Christmas, and I couldn’t imagine actually getting on the bike right now.
We packed up her bike, and I threw my hammock in my Camelbak and we drove over to Anderson Point park. She got on her bike and headed north on the Neuse River Trail, and I found some suitable trees and hung my hammock and enjoyed the park until she came back.
Sometimes it’s great to hike and ride and get a good workout, other times it’s quite enjoyable to sit in the hammock and relax for a while. Good times in this unseasonable 70* December weather we’re having.
